news rocks the church

all are shocked, all have no clues why such thing happened just like that, in a blink on an eye... two lives, full of joy, full of dreams & inspirations, are gone...
why would some people do like that.. i mean they just get the money & ran...but still they shot them...the worse, the news is claiming P5M withdrawal which is absolutely not true! they should not publicize such details that could make the filipino-chinese community in real danger! that could make more criminals would do these things--> easy killing for easy money..
this place is getting worse, stinky, & disgusting everyday... there no safe place anymore... even in resorts, there's theft, in gyms, there's theft.. even u park your car in front of your house & u wake up in the morning, it's gone!

sun explosion

huuuuu! it's very very sticky hot this summer! especially at our studio, it's so sahara inside! feel like we're in a microwave ready to pop like popcorn! even the aircon's highest thermostat cannot penetrate the heat! :-SS...so i wear spag straps & sleeveless almost everyday! but it's good thing about summer is traffic's a breeze especially in mornings... i could get to work in less than 40mins! :-o
speaking of the sun, i also notice losta people now subscribing SUN cellular! becoz of its unlimited call & text 24/7 (just like JR's saying) you could get a free nokia celfone too! cool huh? i know lotsa people have 2 celfones already.. so im a lil confused where to text them.. & the funside of it, all of them could text using both thumbs & send msgs at the same time.. how ambi is that? hehehehe.. ;)

taxi blues

first 2 days of my working here at the studio, i commute only.. it's very exhausting i have to take 5 rides going & another 5 rides going back home. very very stressful, especially when i take the bus.. besides it's slow speed, it's crowded! so now i drive everyday, except for tuesdays.. (becoz of freakin color coding, have no choice, my bro's using the corolla) but lately, i took the taxi when heading home. i dont like riding jeepneys at nyt.. very unpredictable.. u know what i mean..& their terminal is very eerie dark! anyways... one time, i took a taxi beside the SM centerpoint. "ma, sa may araneta-sto.domingo lang, derecho".. when i got in.. i notice his meter was turned off. "manung? sira ba metro mu?" .."ay! hindi! hindi pa naman tayo umaandar e.. chaka ko na pipindutin kapag umaandar na tyo.. dba tama naman yun? keysa binuksan ko hindi pa naman tayo gumagalaw.. eh mali naman yun? (hmm.. good point.. hehe) i said:"sabagay..." after 10 mins. of silence.. i finally asked him:"sayo ba talaga tong taxi? or may operator kyo?" ..."saken po to...bago lang ako nagpasada.. sundalo ho ako.. sa Navy." (huwaw! disciplined! kaya pala!) i said:"ah! ako din dati nun sa CAT pa namin.. navy rin kami!" then another 5 mins. of silence... i dont know how we went discussing the church & its people thingy... basta i discovered that this guy a christian.. he went to a church somewhere in manila.. but sadly, he's a little backsliding, have some "girl" issue yet he has a family in the province.. so i said that he should avoid seeing that girl or better yet confront her, tell her that you're a married guy.. yada yada.... well..he wanted to do that but have no enough guts.. & really ashame of his beliefs & so on & so forth.. to the fact that he doesn't want to go to church anymore.. plus he said that the elders are somehow "hypocrites" & obliging them to give 10% of their income for tithing.. "hmm, manung, baka naman po kulto yan pinasukan mu... kasi ang tithes naman hindi yan pinipilit.. kungdi kusang-loob binibigay..pero sabi sa Bible, yan ang minimum na hinihingi ng Diyos sa atin.. tutal sa Kanya naman nanggaling mga biyaya.."
well i hope he understood that.. hehe.. it's sad, some people in church are led astray becoz of "plastic" elders or leaders.. some are totally turned away from christianity & gone back to old habits.. tsk tsk.. the worst.. some churches are split becoz of misunderstandings & conflicts between leaders... =( after all, there's no perfect church on earth....

JARS OF CLAY "show me love" concert! WOOHOO! last march 2, my friend & i watched the jars concert @ the araneta center! it's so asteg! many people, including us are blessed! they played the famous songs, & also shared their lives & mission to the poeple.. at the middle of the concert, dan haseltine, the band's lead vocals, ask 2 people (lately i realized they're a couple) to come up on stage to sing with them the "unforgetful you" song, becoz the song is so old that they forgot the lyrics (uh huh..) so they did! full -length! though they sang...uhmm... not so good, but i'm sure they gave their best shot! =) after they sang.. the guy shared that it's their 10th anniversary! "it's so great to jam with these guys! a privilege..it's our 10th anniversary.. & 10 years are long enough... so & i have something..(gets a small black box from his pocket) then he knelt down &..:"will you marry me?" 

i'm at puka island! puka shells hunting! ahihi before we headed to the island, we saw a giant squid, i mean GIANT, that could feed 5 families! hehhe =) after we swam, of course, EAT! it's ironic tho when you dine @ resorts or restos near the sea, they cook meat or chicken better than seafoods..hmmm

boracay....our trip the the island last feb25-27.. i really enjoyed it! super duper clear water, fine white sand, da food!! ooohlala! wanna go back! ahihi =) 

exercise is good 4U & me.. :-"

ey! it's been a while i haven't blogged in.. kinda busy these few days... anyways...gyms & spa are sprouting one by one everywhere.. parang mga mushrooms! like there's 2 newly erected spa along banawe st,QC hehe..(massage's gooood!)
i exercise regularly, at least 3x a week.. i box, do cardio & stuff.. my friend's going to try capoiera so that when we quarrel, she'll just kick me with somersault & i'll give her an upper, jab, straight.. >:) hehhee jok lng..
it really feels good especially in early mornings before going to work...better get fit & healthy before my 30's... coz pains & ailments starts occuring when we reached that age.. :-SS hehe
but one time ive committed one of the biggest mistakes! anyways.. like the usual.. go to gym, do my program, then rest, drink coffee, then take a bath..when i was preparing my stuff for shower, i realize that something's missing... OMG! I FORGOT TO BRING NEW PANTY! darn! o well .. have no choice but to use the old one.. the one i used for workout.. (so imagine the sweat & bacteria! eww) good thing it still smells good.. XD ahhihihi...ok lang.. nobody knows naman e.. ahi!

kikay ghOst?

i usually arrived at the studio early.. especially thurdays.. becoz of freakin color coding! have to be there before 7am! anyways..MWF i go to gym then arrived @ studio usually 8.30am.. so i do the usual routine. unlock the door, lay down my things at the computer, turn on the main switch, turn the stereo, eat breakfast then after, sweep the floor & wipe the precious computer.. etc etc..then my colleagues arrived. warren, photographer's assistant, sweep the remaining area of the studio then he cleaned the bathroom..then after. he said:"walang papasok sa banyo.. dahil sobrang linis!".. then he went to the entrance to clean the glass door..then again i heard nature's calling me! so instead of stepping the bathroom tile dirty, i barefooted inside the CR so i left my slippers outside the door scattered... then after i've done my biz, i saw my slippers in front of the mirror!! which is few feet across from the bathroom! & the worst, it is arranged side by side! YIKES!! but i didn't freaked out at first, i thought warren did it...then after a while i asked him.. "kaw ba naglagay ng chinelas ko sa may salamin?" then he replied "hindi nu! baka kaw naglagay dun! or baka si che! ( our AE) " then she denies it too...! (who the heck put my slippers there???) i kept insisting warren that he did it.. but kept on denying it! i know how he looks when he's telling the truth.. & he is telling the truth! so we kinda freaked out! & he jokes:"aba! nanalamin pa yun mumu! sinuot pa yun chinelas mu then humarap sa salamin!"
so that day.. whenever i feel "wiwi".. i insure that there's warren or che inside the studio or near the bathroom so that whenever there's paranormal, abnormal, or whatever that is happen again... i would just.. SCREEAM! @-)
am still bothered by it...

sorry..kinda busy these days.. haven't post any blogs for ages! anyways.. last january 27.. i was on my way to our worship practice after my work..i halt the car @ the intersection of hemady & e.rodriguez for the traffic.. then when the Yellow traffic enforcers signal us to go, the car suddenly died! ive tried to start it.. chug*chug* OH NO!! the electricity died out!! i cant step on the brakes.. i can't turn the wheel! MY GOSH! almost panicking.. i have to be @ the practice coz im the drummer! then i called home to my dad & Ronald hia @ church of what happened & said i'll be little late or maybe i could not make it...so i turned the hazard & let the other cars next to me to go ahead.. then one Yellow guy went to me to ask is my car ok.. then i said:"manung, namatay yun makina.." then he pushed the car at the corner of mcdo.. (waw! food!) then 3 other Yellow guys attended.. i was a little freaked out becoz first i'm driving alone. second, im a girl..perhaps these guys would harrass me.. & third im chinese.. maybe these guys would.. you know... "gatasan lang ako!" but i silently prayed for protection & at the same time would think of a manuever if ever these guys would do something "hocus pocus". =p (paranoid eh?) anyways...thankfully these guys are nice.. they've checked the hood for me.. they put water into the engine etc etc... & one of them handed me the tel# of Wheelers Club! good thing our car is member of the club! they can tow it for free! im also thankful for having 2 celfones that time.. becoz my cel's batt died too..then ive change the batt from my other celfone... anyways.. there's also Mcdonald's where could pee @ their CR! (the nature's calling me since i left the studio geesh!) after 15 mins... the Wheeler's tow truck arrived! wheW!! im safe! (& that was fast too!) so they towed it & brought to our "suki talyer" @ banawe..there my brother's waiting to pick me up..AH! it's still 7.45pm! i could still make it to the practice! so my bro drove me to the church...& ayun! hayyy.... my first time na siraan ako sa daan.. & thank God i stopped @ mcdo where there's people that could attend help..buti nlng hindi sa madilim na place! @-) ahihihhi..

time really really flies!! it's thursday already! then tomorrow, friday! tapos...PAYDAY ulit! yahooo! $_$ hihi! but i'm glad im halfway finish from my projects! have 3 more weddings to go! hihi! whew! on december alone, we've shot 9 weddings! sa amin lang yan! how about other wedding photographers! ang dami talaga kinakasal!

wow! a chinese deli/grocery opened recently beside our studio! losta snacks & junks! o_o! also very expensive! squidballs cost P20.00 4 pcs! waaa! i remember in high school, it only cost P10.00 4 pcs..now twice the price! 2 pcs fried siomai cost P20.00!!! anu yan? ginto? o_o it's freaking annoying when petroleum prices hike, also the prices of everything! i could imagine when i have my own family..transpo fares will cost P100 or tuition fees to P100k!!! o_o

well... it's back to work! back to the studio.. sitting in front of the computer and stare all day.. *o_o ...
"bagong taon, bagong pag-asa" wushu! --> the yearly tagline..but can you see any changes in our society.. i don't think so....our country's like a wheel, goes round and down, down and round.. electing "people" to a position, when needs and wants didn't meet-->rally.. if they didn't got their want...-->a threat to do another "edsa rev"...i don't think our country would change becoz the people itself have no discipline.. they wanted their wants to be awarded instantly if not.. EDSA 5!! wahehehe... wanna see evidence of no discipline? try riding an MRT! ohh lala! body contacts! =p

it's 2005! wow! =) a lot challenges this year! and it's my 5th month on my job! hehehe.. 1 month to go- regular na ako! =)
sadly, death toll at tsunami disaster (that hit after christmas) still growing! it already reached 100k! o_o very very sad! but good thing my eldest sister, who lived in malaysia, was not affected..
have a question? do you get irritate whenever your parents compares you with other people with more sophisticated than you are? and humiliates you in front of them intentionally or unintentionally? and they don't appreciate your talents or your current job? yeah i understand they want you to be a better-looking person, could earn lotsa lotsa of money, etc etc...
well... that's typical old school chinese family.. unexpressive, conservative... -->whatever

monday again..

i don't like mondays.. all the work will start again.. have to get up @ 5.30am, working out, opening the studio, sweeping, cleaning the computer, & continue all the pendings..then suddenly the secretary will call that she'll absent that day! but this day is different... i walked to the studio.."aba! ang aga ng boss ko!" then he gave me practice pad for drumming exercises.. yey! =)
i've realized that location shoots are more fun than studio shoots.. you'll have the chance to chat with new people, endorsers, models.. & of course.. dine at Taco Bell! and magazine people are also fun to work with.. especially when we do fashion shoots... but the thing is.. food budget is really budgetted only for 5 people including the photographer. (meaning excluding the "graphic artist" *sigh*) =)
wonder why fashion models look good in their clothes? key?-->CLAMPS! yes! fashion eds use clamps or masking tape & stuck 'em at the back of the model to make the clothes look "slimmer" for the them! >:) the pose? key-->exaggerate every corner of your body to reveal the "curves" & to lose the "unwanted curves" >:) (try it on the mirror.. you'll see! be sure no one's looking)

have to drink lotsa Extra Joss this week! it's going to be a panic week for christmas! almost everynight practice at church! wahhh! upto saturday!
